Painting Brake Calipers Majority Vote Picks My Color

I have a 2002 TL-S SSM with 18" Enkie RPM2 in Hyper Black, and Irotor slotted/drilled rotors. Tough time deciding between painting the calipers black, silver, or red.

All those colors are played out. You should paint it PPG Flaming Pink. :gheylaugh:
And since majority vote picks the color, everyone vote PPG FP.

Black just to make em blend in. Silver will just look gray soon enough and hard to clean.

There are several reasons pink is not an option:

(1) I'm not gay

(2) Painting your calipers pink is gay

Yep...black. Just did mine last weekend and they look real good. They blend in a little more and don't draw attention to the fact you don't have a BBK like Phesto said. That's the reason I went with black.

Unless you have BIG brakes black is the only choice for me. Anything else draws to much attention to your stock brakes.

I really liked the idea of red, but ya black (or maybe gunmetal to match the wheels) would probobly look better then red on the stock calipers

Random people on the road that see your calipers in red is not gona make people realize you dont have a BBK. Most people don't even know what a big brake kit is nor would they even expect a TL to even have a BBK. I'm sorry but, ive only seen a couple people on this forum that actually have BBK because most of us with our TL's cant even justify the point of having a BBK when were not all speed racers here. Remember, our TL's are slow and they suck when it comes to racing. We will get beat by every tuner car out. PERIOD. PAINT THEM WHATEVER COLOR YOU WANT. DONT LISTEN TO SOME OF THESE GUYS. I say silver cuz it will contrast good with black rims and math your car but red will look kinda nasty on a silver car. If anything go black. Lata.

Paint 'em red!

Did mine red, my car is silver, I think it looks cool. there's a reason both the Boxter S and Z06 come with Red
