Just wondering if you guys actually removed the caliper to paint or did you carefully paint while on the brake rotor?
I like the color but no offense I don't know about blue...

I didn't remove the caliper. I just used masking tape to cover the calipers and anything else I didn't want to get paint on. I painted all of the visible areas first, and let them dry. Once they were dry, I rolled the wheel to get to the unpainted section that had been underneath the caliper. I retaped, painted, and let dry again.

The brand of paint is Duplicolor. I used Klean-Strip rust remover (at WalMart) to remove the rust before painting. I first washed them with soap and water, then applied the rust remover, then washed with soap and water again as per the directions. It worked really good. It just dissolved the rust. The excess (not much) came off easily with the sponge I used to wash it.
Roosevelt huh? I grew up in Park Village! I went to Judson for a couple of years (91 thru 93). Then moved across town to the Holmes area. But I spent from ages 3 to 15 in Park Village. It's a small world!

Incidently, that's same paint I used for the Y pipe and to touch up the muffler cans.
Do you have a picture of the finished product through the wheel?

Could you please give me a link to your Y pipe touch-up post? Might as well hit those while I'm at it. How many more cans do I need?
