Paint Job

Hi, I have a 99 Heather Mist TL and I decided that I really don't like that color anymore. It still runs great so I don't feel the need to trade it in yet. I was wondering how much an average paint job would be if I just wanted to have my car painted black. It does have to be the Nighthawk Black Pearl color, I just want it to be a nice black color. I was just wondering what a decent paint job would run me. Thanks in advance!!

Paint Jobs really vary according to what you want. Its hard to put a price on it...

Just like an average price to get my whole car painted black, not crappy paint, but not immaculate paint either. Just a nice black paint job.

I will tell you as I have been told, you get what you pay for. Ya know. I'd say anywhere from 1500-2K would be a great paint job. Thats just my 2 cents

I had to have my hood roof and trunk repainted and that inlcuded the blending work on quarter panels and new badging - cost was 1176 here in North Carolina -

If you want a whole body paint job at the good shop - at least 3K.

I'd have to say anywere from 2k to 3k for a clean paint job. That should include door jams, trunk, and motor (engine bay).

Be careful with where you go for the paint job. If they dont know what they are doing, you will regret it. I had an older car that was in an accident and they did not put enough elastin in the paint and it starting chipping & peeling about a year later.

It might just depend on areas... I got a great paint job on my Maxima for 1200 dollars... It's been 2 years and still perfect! My 0.2 cents

i would charge between 1500-3k with the jambs trunk ect. black is the cheapest color. reds are the most expensive. you want a flake, or a pearl? night hawk black is a sweet color. ive also done black with blue gost flame pearl and that was HOT! look around find a good shop and ask to see some of their work!
