paint codes

is there a difference between satin silver and satin silver metallic? i have a 99tl and on the purchase papers it says "Satin Silver M." but i have no idea how to find the paint code. Any help guys?

pop your driver door, look at the side panel.

and it only comes in metallic as far as i know.
