Angry Paint on acura TL

Having a tl was my hope and dreams but now having the car for over a year i realize that the paint on the tl is really cheap. While today when i was washing my car i found out that my paint are fading and lot's of scratches and swirls. Some paint in the front bumper and the back bumper are chipping ...is there anyway to solve this problem.I am planning to bring it to the dealer to get a repaint or go to other car dealer such as bmw, audi for a repaint. In the other hand i was about to bring it to a professional bodyshop in montreal.Which is the best solution to this issue.

no offence, but don't swirl happen when you wash your car with rough material?? I've always washed my cars with clean sheep skin mits and dried them with clean chemois... I can hardly see swirl marks on my TL or the 330Ci

and I find it hard to believe to have a 1 year old car without scratches, I mean, I baby my beemer, and now what, after 1 year, scratches and dents..., they're inevitable, they come from dust and debri in the air, and careless people in the parking lot

and in my experience, paint chip only when the part has hit something, doesn't matter how hard or light the collision, the paint will inevitably chip

just my two cents, please do not think the TL is a bad car, it's very well built, but cars, they don't look new forever, no matter how much care you put into them, because there are ALWAYS people who don't give cr@p about your car on the road

I doubt what you see is fade. I think it's oxidation and can be taken out using a good paste wax and a buffer. A friend of mine had a '93 Civic and the color was faded from red to orange with white areas. He took a buffer and some Classi <--spell? wax which was from Germany and took it right off including the swirl marks. BTW, you car wouldn't happen to be black would it?

well... it'd be so very hard 2 fix chipped paint and scratches, so might as well get a re-paint done at a shop with good reputation in your area, good luck!
