Pads

Hey there everyone. About my brakes, I have to press down on it quite a bit about a few inches until the brakes engage. My pads I know are real worn down, I has about 80% wear on it. I was wondering if I also need to rebleed my lines, or is it that pads can makes this much of a difference in brake pedal travel? Also, im at 100k miles, and I was wondering how much of a difference a fuel system cleanup (carb, injectors, etc.) can make. Thanks.

The pedal travel means you need to bleed your brakes. Just did mine and the pedal is rock hard again.

As for pads, might as well throw on some new ones, at $40 for the Autozone pads, I saved my rotors, even though I will replace with the EBC Greenstiffs soon.
