Did a search and can't find... P1399 CEL code, it came along with P0300, P0301, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, which I know are misfire codes but the P1399 isn't listed. Maybe someone can help?

p1399 = random or multiple misfires. Check your resistances across the injector to test if they're bad. check all vacuum hoses to make sure there are no leaking.

Its a multiple misfire code. Odds are you have 1 bad coil. When was the last time you had your plugs changed?

 

yeah, I had 2 bad coils so I changed them all and the plugs at the same time and all is good now

i changed my plugs not too long ago, like 2 months ago i used those iridium plugs, how do you test the coils? thanks

 

You really dont. Buy 1 new coil. Find a cyl to start on. Replace the coilpack on that one with the new one. clear the ECU and run the car to see if the code comes back. If so take that coil off and replace with the one you took off and move on to the next. This procedure has worked for many. (while it is possible you have more than 1 bad with the multiple like that its most likely you just have 1)

 

^^aggreed... the only reason I changed all of mine is the amount of mileage

 

Where is a good place to buy a new coil? I'm getting the problem on my TL, multiple misfires.
