P0401 and p1739

So, I was driving my 99 acura tl on freeway and all of the sudden cel and tcs came on. I got the codes listed above! Today, I cleaned the Egr and reset the computer by disconnecting the battery for 3 mins. For code p1739 what is the part # for 3rd clutch pressure switch? The fluid level is fine, smells and looks fine! Car has 184000 miles. When can I go and check for the codes? Should I just wait for the cel to come on?

'99 EGR cleaning.........

The '99 EGR's passageways are different than the '00>'03 models.

The system is more restrictive and gunks up really bad. You may want to consider going back in and looking things over to make sure all the nooks, crannys, and ports are clear of carbon deposits. Also, re-check the gasket & cover placement, along with all hoses and connections.

Did the codes appear again after cleaning the EGR ?

It doesn't shake! I was just paranoid lol! Well, after cleaning the egr I started the car! The cel was on! So, I disconnected the battery for couple mins. Since then no cel! When should I take the car to autozone to read the codes?

Hey Thewrangler99, Just chill a bit, don't cross the bridge before ya get to it !

How about the P04021 & P1739 codes, they all went away ?

How is the car presently running, how's the tranny shifting ?

If ya have not done a tranny drain & fill, try draining it and replace with genuine Honda DW1 fluid.
Maybe even consider a new filter at the same time ! Recommended by Dr. Phil !!!

The cel not came back just yet after resetting the ecu and cleaning the egr! Trans fluid was changed about 28k miles ago! It shifts fine! I may order 3rd clutch pressure switch from ebay! I guess its time to change the trans fluid too!
