Oxygen Sensor .. TL 2000
hi guys. ..can I replace my Oxygen sensor before cat with Bosh #13229 .
is both sensors are same before Cat and at Cat ? Can i use 13229 before Cat ? on 2000 TL .. My car killing on gas .. No Eng light ..everything smoth and running fine but killing on Gas..went to service station they checked with Tool ..no codes but said it's seems like Lazy or slow Oxygen sensor ( i was thinking if its defective my eng light should be on)..My car runs great on Highway but in City it's not even giving more then 350-400 Km on Fulltank..
Any Idea if change O2 sensor before Cat with this Bosh #13229 ,,will it help ?

Several recent threads have been created regarding bad gas mileage. Do a search to find them cause there is some great info in them.
Highly doubtful that your O2 sensor is the cause of your gas mileage problems, especially if it only affects city driving.
