thats showing the downstream sensor--or `after cat`

bank 1 iirc is the front sensor= thats the one reading the engine performance
the rear sensor reads the cats performance

whats your fault code and running symptoms--drop in mpg?

Bank1 should be the front sensor, that has the green wire on the oem sensor. if your sensor was bad, your engine will idle shakenly.

there is 1 before cat,,,thats the one you want
and other is located after cat and makes sure the cat is working correctly

did you mean cat when you said header? in post 3
any good parts person knows the front O2 does all the work of running the car and is most likely to fail

except if you race the car and beat the cat,,,

There needs to be more info. With our motor and its exhaust setup there is only 1 bank to monitor but 2 sensors. A correct code would read bank 1 sensor 1 or 2 meaning front or rear.

in that case do an ecu reset and see if it was a false code from the water - and not a bad O2
Is the car running different, mileage drop? hard to start,,,O2 sensor

Denso #234-4727 = Bank 1 (upstream)
Denso #234-4621 = Bank 2 (downstream)

IMHO, if the car has over 100K, then replace them both while you are under there. Amazon (with free shipping) beats Advanced Auto even with the 15% Advanced gives you on an over $100 purchase. If you need it immediately, then the local retail price reflects the opportunity cost.

Good luck

Until you give us the exact code we would be just guessing.

Amazon has them for:
#234-4727 = $51.19
#234-4621 = $30.28
with free supersaver shipping; however, I like the ability of Advanceds option of shopping on-line and then being able to pick-up the part locally, should they have it in stock vs waiting 5-7 days for supersaver shipping.

Great deal
