Hey, i am new to posting (have been lurking for months). I finally got my 02 NBP tl-s after two months of waiting. i bought the car after it had been in an accident and got it fixed. i know many people are skeptical about cars w/ slavaged title, but im an 18-year-old college student and paying for the car myself, therefore $20k for a tl-s = within budget, $32k = ha.

anyway when i got the car it had no owners manual. i called my local ac dealership who directed me to the helms company. my question is, does the tl-s have a different manual than the tl-p. the helms website only lists it as a "2002 ac tl manual". i just dont wanna get the wrong one. thanks for any help.

 

are you talking about a service manual or the owners manual?

 

Owner’s and service manuals are the same, you probably need just owner’s, the one that should come with the car.

 

If it didn't check eBay or maybe some1 on this site my not need theres anymore.

I believe the owner manual is the same for 2002 TL-S and TL-P since I remember last time I looked at it, the manual talks about VSA for TL-S and TCS for TL-P.

Not sure about service manual thou.

yah i tend to think the owners manual is the same, i definitely remember it covering tl-p and tl-s topics

 

If you want a service manual get one from Helms, they have a special add-on manual for the Type -S

 

The tl-p and the tl-s is the same manual.
I also lost mine when i changed my fog lights. Left it at a friend's garage and his mom probably threw it away.
I called my dealer and they said to call this 800#. I did, and they said the 03 manual is not out yet. I dunno what to do now.
