Just wanted to see hows everyones TL is holding up.

The tranny was the only issue with the car besides basic maintenance items! I did replace both axles, but I think that was because the car was slammed with heavier wheels and I drove the piss out of it.

Tranny #: Origional, was rebuilt only once by the 1st owner, wich was in 2005, no problems since then, so basically no tranny problems for me since I got the car in nov, 06

Comment: The car had 134k miles on it when i got it, it is holding up very well, I had all the belts done, water pump, thermostat, & tensioner, also had my local shop do a coolant flush and put on a new radiator cap(((dont know what coolant was used, but they said its a 50/50 pre mix, in a large barrel in the back of that shop))). other then that, i havent had to do anything else to the car and it has been running fine, hid's work, everything works, I'M GETTING A 06 TL WHEN I'M DONE WITH THIS CAR

Thanks for your comments... I love the 2G TL Type-S as well!

The car is still very clean... Absolutely no rim rash on the wheels... I have the OEM kit on it with 20R/35F window tinting, and it's dropped on HR Sport springs... I also put longer exhaust tips on it to better match the OEM kit dimensions (I did this after this photo was taken)... Love it!

I have to admit that I had a similar timing regret (but not so much any more)... The new 3G TLs were introduced just a few months after I bought my car! I was a little disappointed at first, but in the end, I really prefer the long sleek lines of the 2G...
