we have a stock immobilizer in our car right? cause our keys have a "Chip" in it, so a theif cant steal it without a key (yes other options but mainly the key) correct? i just wanna clear up some things in my mind about immobilizer. im confused bout all this stuff and im a noob when it comes to car alarms, i want to buy one when i get my new car....and i want to have an immobilizer with my aftermarket system, but yea back on topic, our cars have a stock immobilizer, yes no...

 

yes we have one. its mounted by the ignition and talks to the ecu. with out the right key it just cranks over but wont start
