Ordered New DVD Upgrade

well, i just couldn't wait anymore, i was itching so i went ahead and took the plunge and called 1-888-549-3798 and ordered the new navi dvd upgrade for my 2000 tl-p , i can't wait to get it, the total cost with tax and i opted for the 2 day shipping, the grand total was 202.00, that might seem steep but i think it will be worth it, she told me they will start shipping them out next week!!
I will keep you guys in on the loop as far as what has changed, the look, and any other things i notice about it!!

Yeah I would be interested in seeing pictures of the new interface if there is any. I just wonder what changes happened in the NY area, because that website tells me nothing was added except POI's.

The albany region is more detailed, which is important for me at least since i go to school here, but i dont have the car and i dont really go many places.
Areas aroud the city will probably be a little newere, such as new neighboorhooods added, but nothing that i would actually need.
Post some screen shots though, as i hear the graphics are updated so hopefully it wil look something like the one in the MDX.

Where do you get that the Albany area is more detailed? The website does not reflect that at all.

Looks like a big bust to me. See thread:

http://www.acura-tl.com/forum/showth...threadid=64621

and Acura Owner Net link;

https://ecominet2.alpine-usa.com/htm...reas_honda.htm

for listing of detailed coverage areas. New and expanded areas are highlighted in red.

I was very disappointed with the lack of detailed coverage in v2.05. Not much to smile about in the latest update.
