Opinionss??

I have a completely stock FPR 00 Tl and i was thinking about painting the rims black and getting the acura symbol on the rims painted red, then smoking out the tail lights. Good idea or no?

what rims are we talking about here? the 16" tl-p stockies? your call on the red A logo, might be too small to make a difference further than a couple feet away.

only smoke the red portion of the tail lights, then post up some photos.

good idea if you don't plan on selling it anytime soon, but it might be difficult to find buyers later on if you do all these mods

I think a clean stock car looks classier than painted up wheels with a weird color combo and tinted tails...

spend the 100-200 on springs or go get coils

you won't regret it

I'm not too keen on painting rims - unless you really take your time and use the right products, you risk the clear rubbing out at car washes, flaking off from rocks hitting it, etc.

But I say get windows tinted then the red parts of the tails tinted for a nice look. With the snowstorm coming up this week, best not to drop the car yet.

Yeah, but 16" stockies are dirt cheap right now. I see them on craigslist with tires for $150 and still no one buys them.

Drop, dro, dro, drop drop it.

painting your wheels before a drop is not a good idea, and like others said, if you paint make sure they are done right.
