opinions on eyelids
what do you think about these eyelids?? nice or gay??, i really wanted the value sport ones but theyre too expensive (170-190$), i was contemplating on getting the mugen replicas
the value ones
if its easy i was gonna see if i could cut that extension off on the first ones to make it look like the value ones were the eyelid dosent drop down

there are no mugen style eyelids since mugen never made eyelids for the TL. those are just some no-name brand eyelids.
i say go for the value eyelids... hardly anyone (if anyone) has them so they are much more rare.

Never understood them! Kind of like smoked out headlight covers and having to drive with your high beams on to see...just don't get it. Our headlights look nice from the start, why hide them. I think clearing the lens is a much better look than eyelids.

This might be anold thread revived, however, since it is up and walking, let me ask: What is the purpose of these? As far as I can tell, they make the trunk seam like it was in a front end collision, or at best as if it had been in a collision, and repaired poorly. In addition, they must create some turbulence and for sure become high speed projectiles if installed improperly. What gets me the most is that at night, I seriously wish for the most visibility without being illegal, and then I see a response like this:
WTF? I think having 3 times the candle power looks "meaner" than having your headlight beam chopped to less than full illumination...
oh and for the record, since six months ago an opinion was requested: I think it looks teh gehy.
