Pardon me everyone if this is a bit long-winded, but I am very interested in everyone's opinion.

My mother currently is leasing a '00 TL w/ nav. Her lease is up in December and I am trying to decide on what she should lease next. I am leaning toward putting her in an '03 TL-S w/ nav, as I know that they are not moving with the current Accord and the new TL on the horizon.

Here's my dilema - she has not been particularly happy with her '00 TL. I know that there have been many improvements made in the last three years, but I am wondering if they have significantly improved the vehicle. She got her TL when they first came out and she is paying about $430 a month for her lease which is just ridiculous. She has only about 30,000 miles on the car and I know from speaking to a sales rep. that they would be happy to put her in an '03 TL now for lower payments, even though her lease isn't up until December. I am really curious to know what people here think. I have also considered the TSX and I know there is a great debate here about which to go with. I have pretty much ruled out the '04 TL as it is going to be more expensive.

So, after I have gotten your opinion on whether or not you think the '03 TL is significantly better than the '00 TL, please answer one more question for me. I am a General Motors employee and I get a significant discount on GM cars. I have also considered putting her in a Saab 9-3 or a Cadillac CTS. Do you think that I will have some additional leverage in negotiations with our Acura dealership that has leased two cars and sold one to our family? If they will give me a sweet deal, I guess it is a no brainer, but I am curious to know your opinions.
