I'm in Canada. I know someone who will be driving to the States (probably Florida) next month. I'm thinking that this could be a very good thing -- they could bring me back some stuff for my '99 TL from the States that isn't readily available here....which will save me a ton on shipping fees! We don't have many of the chain stores that you guys have -- I think one is "Pep Boys" or something? + another store? Anyway, what do you guys think they could bring me back that'll save me some $$? I can't have them spend a whole lot of money and the exchange rate SUCKS, but just thinking of the possibilities...... Any ideas/suggestions?

Just wondering: do those chain auto stores sell Lexol and Vinylex? Just thinking that is one thing I would like to get that is not available here....

Go to Pep Boys (pepboys.com for locations)... that's where I get the Lexol. There should be a Canadian store that sells it ... but I have yet to find it... What do you have on your car? You could also pick up 3A exhaust tips ... I got it from Pep Boys, too.

BTW, I just drive over to Michigan ... not Florida. Just a few ideas.

Thanks for the info so far... Want to take advantage of the opportunity to stalk up on some hard-to-find things here since I know people who will be vacationing in Florida.

For those who live in the U.S.: What's the size/price of Lexol that's available in stores there? Is there a large/bulk version of Lexol available in-store, or do they generally only carry the spray bottle/one size? So they will be able to get it for me at any PepBoys store or Auto Zone? (We don't have those stores here)

To answer your question, I don't think I have ever really seen bulk packaging for car supplies, especially at Pep Boys or Autozone.

I wish it was .66 cents again or even lower. I went to the ATM and was surprised how much I actually spent. Another thing, those damn taxes they have over there! I thought NYC was bad.
