Question one touch sunroof

Okay I own a 99 TL and I am wondering if it is possible to upgrade the sunroof motor button so that it opens with just a touch without holding it down.
anyone tried this or have any suggestions?
thanks

yeah that sucks that we have to hold the button to open the roof. My last car, 99 toyota solara, had one touch and the AC doesn't.....

Either u can use 1 DEI 528T and some relays or just use 2 DEI 528T's. They are about 20 bux a piece. This can be done with a bit of wiring. However make sure to get a good ground or else these pulse timers will cut off too short.

here is where the trick comes on, yes the above mentioned works, but in most cases if you leave your moonroof on a tilt, it might give you a problem when closing the roof thru 528T

eh no DEI530T or DEI529T will NOT work, that is why most installers cant figure it out and end up putting it into the tilt mode and eventually gives up.

Only the 528T will work, ONLY because it is a timed relay. The DEI530Ts and DEI529Ts are not timed relays, the are window modules and sense if the motor has resistance.... IE closed or all the way opened.

I have not had any problems with the DEI528Ts, well if I had completed installed it then there would be no problems. Slightly little thing that I have to wire correctly.

That thread has the parts, but the wiring diagram is missing. Can anyone supply that?
