OK...I don't know how da heck this happened, if someone stole it or it fell off, but I'm missing one exaust tip. It has like a long scratch where the screw is screwed to the muffler so either they yank it off or I must have went up some steep hills to have it knocked out. Anyway...if anyone of you replaced your muffler or just the exaust tip and willing to part with your spare leave me a message. Thanks

Oh and it's the original exaust tip, the chrome one. I don't want a gold tip.

If no one has it I guess I'll go buy it from somewhere. Any reccomendation?

 

crap.. sorry to hear about your loss and I definitely hope that you somehow lost it by accident cuz I'd HATE to have to start worrying about someone jacking my exhaust tips!!

 

hahaha :o this happened to me too....I have no freaky idea how this happened but you can get a new one under the warranty. Just say it fell off....

 

I am not sure if it will cover under warranty or not, but give it a try. The price for chrome ext. tip is $35.42 and you can get it from any ACURA dealer.

 

The same thing happened to mine a few months ago. My car is lowered 3" and I had three people in my back seat plus me and my wife. I went down a steep driveway and I heard a scratching noise. I knew my bodykit was rubbing but decided to stop the car anyway and get out to check. Thank god I did because my muffler tip was laying right there on the floor. I was in shocked. Imagine if I drove away and found out later that it was gone, I would have started crying.
So I took it to the dealer and told them it fell off. So they put it back on for me for free.
A little piece of advice: next time you hear anything from your car, get out and check it.

 

on my car i broke of the bolt head on my exhaust tip. I was trying to take them off to paint the mufflers and the bolt head just snapped right off. Maybe i will try to get a new one from the dealer.

It is possible that they are stolen... BECAUSE they do fit the Accord V6

Yeah...and they only need 1! Well....I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and say it fell off...I doubt that my dealer will replace it for free though.

And if this is a recurring problem...I think they should just weld that thing on the muffler.

I went down a steep hill going to fast and my tip ripped right off. i know ebay sells some pretty cheap but i bought mine from the factory which cost $40!
