why didn't you get out of the car and get her information down? That way she would've ended up paying for the dent.

I know how you feel...sometime in the last day or so, some jackass with a red car scraped my front bumper, leaving red paint and a nice spot of my SSM paint completely gone. I was totally ripped today when I saw it while washing my car. I always park far away from any a-holes, but somehow they got me this weekend. I am **pissed**!! I HATE people who don't respect other people's things!!!

I generally park where there isn't a chance of anyone parking next to me unless they want to walk an extra 50-100 yards to get to a store or whatever. Always park in a spot where only one side of your can can be parked next to. This gives you a 50 percent less chance of getting hit by other inconsiderate people. Always park in the MIDDLE of the parking spot. It takes an extra minute to find the SAFER spots but is usually worth it if you want your car to stay DING free. The second day I had my TL, I drove to Church and some kid in a mini van opened the door and dented my car. Guess we aren't safe anywhere eh?

I always park either COMPLETELY in left field or I park between two nice cars.....I doubt someone with a Bimmer or Porshe would be as careless as someone with a 91 Corsica

Me too. I had my mom with me while running around on Sunday and I said to her, "Good thing you like to walk, because that's what we do when we take this car." She and my dad think I'm nuts, but I don't like it when someone so much as breathes on my car. So to have someone scuff up my car this past weekend really pisses me off, because I take the time and effort to park far away.

Sorry about your ride, man...glad you were able to buff it out.

And this is why I park extremely far away AND over two spaces. The thing that gets me, is at Wally World when you do this, some moron still parks close to you (and 1 space away at Wally World is never enough).

Yeah....parked far away from everyone else tonight at Wal-Mart, came out 10 minutes later, and some jerkoff in a beatup minivan had parked RIGHT next to me. WTF?!?! People don't seem to be getting the hint lately. I'm going to pound the next person who I see do this to me.

Yes, this is my other trick. You are right, most others with luxury cars don't like their cars marked up either.

I can appreciate you trying to take care of your car but cmon man its a parking lot. I have quite a few dings on my TL but no one has keyed it knock on wood. Man my ford ranger was keyed up so badly. And I know it was just punk kids in the neighborhood because my audio system was stolen out of it. Grrrr man some people are jerks.
