Any one that has Installed Tokicos Please help...

About to switch out my struts. The tokicos have a tapered section at the end, while the stock ones look like they have a washer welded to the strut to sandwich the top plate and the nut onto the strut. Am i suppose to get something else or take the stock part off the stock strut and replace?

Thanks, wanted to get this done today.

Yes and i know that this is suppose to be in tires but i need a fast answer if at all possible.

it's easy. i'm assuming you're talking about the front shocks and the bump stops/dustboots. the washers come off (with a hammer and screwdriver) and the dust boots all come off with some prying. i put in tokico blues and everything transferred over. don't worry!

here are some pics:

it's a little hard to see in these pics, but those are the front shocks and the washer/etc all come off. the bottom photo is the stock shocks obviously. they were all bent to piss. i have more photos of the removal and installation if you need them. just take note of the order in which you take the washer and dustboot and the other little pieces off. it's easy to forget and reassemble it a little cockeyed. take a photo and save yourself some time and hassle.
