Oil report from Blackstone labs

attached is the oil report i recieved from Blackstone for my ATF sample. please give your thoughts, opinions, and ideas. should i start saving up and be prepared for a big upset?

Fixed.


And since this is a trans report im not sure what should or shouldnt be in it or averages. Engine oil is a little different.

I would change out the fluid and do another sample in 15k or so and see what the results are. 60k on stock fluid and these trans is a long time.

HOLY 60K on that Oil? No wonders the Results. Change ATF every 2 Engine Oil Changes for Pristine ATF.

im actually not sure how often atf was changed. i bought the car with 50k and changed it at 60k, i have no knowledge of it being changed before that. it looked like chocolate syrup when i did change it though.

but if tests show 60k, then i guess thats wut it is and its pretty rediculous

wow you spend a lot of $$$ on fluids then...I go every 30k miles give or take and I hate the $100 it costs to get 6 quarts each time. I used to do the 3x3 but have settled for the 3x2 drain/fill

I think he means 3.4 qts- a single drain and refill every 15k-every other oil change,,


ou sig- ck online for way better pricing, ck our sponsoring dealers too
100 for 6 qts,,I guess everything really is BIGGERR in Texas!! including the retail prices

well I could have swore last time I got 6qts from the local Honda dealership it was close to $14/qt so I may have rounded up just a bit. what is the normal prices now for the new stuff?

Buy in bulk and save some money. Case of 12 cost me about 90 bucks I think at Mackenzie here in SF.
