Keep an eye on oil levels.

Go to a mechanic and get it checked (sorry -- stupid answer but that's what I would do).

majority of the time its your valve cover gaskets. Look at the rear one and see if its the case if not, check your oil filter and drain plug to make sure its tight and secure.

Hopefully its not the head gaskets. that would be a fun project.

good luck!!

Bulletin is actually 01-041 and does apply to 99-03 TL's. But it's only covered under the normal 50K/4yr warranty. The fix is to use JB Weld to seal the "porous" spots in the block.

Gaskets and Seals

I am sorry to ask the question, but where is the Head Gasket and Rear Main Seal located? I have heard these terms before and they appear to be a real time consuming jobs, but not sure what gasket or seal they are.

Thanks much.
