Oil filter

I have 2 oem oil filters that I recently acquired. The part number is "15400-plm-a01", by Filtech...Aka, OEM.
However, It looks really small, so I want to verify that it will fit a 2002 tl-s.

Can anybody verify this for me? I have googled, searched on here, and beyond and couldnt seem to find anything.

I have a box of OEM filters and the part # is 15400-PLM-A02 and it's a Honda filter. 15400-PLM-A01 is the same thing. Check out this site: http://www.handa-accessories.com/civmaint01.html.

match the oring size and threads of the oil filter
OE filters are often smaller than aftermarket
OE uses what it can buy in mass quantity for the lowest price

The OEM filter was made smaller a few years back and that is when I stopped using them. I use Fram filters because they are the original size filters. I buy them at Walmart

Not sure but I've been using the ones for the S2000's since my friend has so many at his house.

They are longer and thinner than the one listed for our cars. I've been running fine for a few months now. Hope that helps.
