Oil Analysis results
Well gents, i bought her with 112k on the clock, switched to full synthetic, now has 122k on the clock and on her 3rd oil change, will now go to the 10k intervals. Looks good so far, if i sell her soon at least the engine is solid.

Those are nice numbers. Lately, my oil's been showing slightly elevated lead which I hope does not indicate imminent bearing failure. I just did my 70K oil change and I'll be sending my oil sample in for analysis soon. I hope my #s are as good as these

If the sample was taken with the engine hot, then you have a fuel dilution problem. I would check the plugs and coil packs. The fuel should read < 0.5%, and Insolubles should be < 0.4%, preferably 0.3% for such a short drain.
Correct these problems and the oil can go 7500 miles easily. Amsoil held its viscosity well and protected well despite the fuel dilution.
If your oil analysis is showing 58ppm of K, you need to have your cooling system pressure tested immediately, as you're having a serious coolant leak.

A fuel dilution problem is generally caused by a poorly tuned engine, one that is overdue for plugs, or has other problems with the ignition components. Short trips can sometimes cause fuel dilution, which is why it is a good idea to run your engine to its normal operating temperature at least weekly if your car is used primarily for short trips, as the fuel will burn off once the oil is hot.
You need to drive for at least 10-15 miles at highway speeds prior to taking the sample.
