In dash cd changer means I've got to carry all these jewel cases out to my car as opposed to the cd changer in my TL that I can load in the house and pop in the trunk in no time. And I still have one in the dash....hey that makes seven!

I really don't understand what your complaint is about regarding the CD jewel boxes. For several years, I've utilized a small CD carrying case, which has a capacity for 50 CDs. This carrying case does not require the jewel boxes. I'm pretty sure that everyone is very familar with them, and their use for carrying around CDs for your car and portable CD players. You can find them at Best Buy and several other national audio/video stores (Media Play, Circuit City, Fry's, Target, Wal-Mart, and etc.).

Give me a break, this has got to be one of the lamest arguments I have ever heard for not liking a car. Its obvious you probably wouldnt like this car no matter what it looked like, wouldnt have anything to do with the fact that you have a 2001 would it??

Seriously I have a cd changer in my current car and I carry a cd carrying case. Sometimes I am in a mood for a different cd when I am on the road. Leaving it at home would then be useless. In my last 2 cars actually I have always mounted the cd changers in the car, so I wouldnt have to get out and change cds. I could do it at a lightor whenever.

What I want to know is can you also add an External CD Changer to this system? Reason I am asking is that when Phatnoise or similar MP3 players become popular will you be able to add it to the existing system. The regular TL with the external changer can be changed to the MP3 player very easy.
Of course you can go through the FM radio with the MP3 player but wouldn't you lose some quality?

As for judgement on the car itself I have not seen the car in person so I am not going to pass judgement on the car itself.

Wink

I see what you mean, it's much more convenient to park the car, run around to the trunk, extract the cartridge, carry it into the house, load it, back out the car, reinsert the cartridge in the changer, get back in into the car.

It sure beats popping em into the dash while sitting in your heated leather seat.

Life can be so hard sometimes... ;-)

tea elle,
wake up. It's kinda new generation CD changer. I have sent an e-mail to those vendors to consult you before thinking about next model or next idea for their product.

Shame man

Don't get me wrong. It's clear now, you don't like it at all.

I agree with you upto some stage, cause there are some people, they just love this car no matter how it is but not this way man. It's beyond my lasy imagination.

Don't take it in a wrong way.
