Oh no, not another problem!!!

I was driving home tonight when I noticed a high pitched squeaking noise coming from the front end of the car. When I turn my steering wheel left or right the noise appeared near the tires, possibly in the rack/pinion or other steering mechism. The steering fluid is full so that can't be the problem. Has anyone have a similar situation? Any idea what the deal is? Thanks...

I'd say take it to the dealer. I hope it's not your CV joint. Check for leaks around the boot and inside the wheel well.

Yep, power steering belt is slipping-cheap/easy to fix while you wait.

Had the same problem on my 2001 CL, they lubricated ball-joint and the problem went away, now its back, and the dealer told me that this time they will replace entire ball joint....

It happened to few people, not to common .... but I've seen about 5-10 people complain on CL forum...
