OEM kit has Gaps at the corners....

I installed the kit on my 03 TL-S and the rear piece has some pretty large gaps where it meets the bumper at the corners. I pushed the clips all the way in, and used the pre-dimpled locations in the wheel well. I tried to adjust it to no avail. The front corners have smaller, less noticable, gaps also, but the rear is verry noticable. Can anyone help with this? Any one else have the same? This can't be normal.

there should be no gaps... it would help us if you took some pictures a lot more. but for me, i installed the kit without any instructions and it was pretty straightforward. you must have done something wrong. :T

i had gaps on mine it was normal cus urethane can warp, anyways a easy fix is just add washers between the pre-dimple mounts on the rear wheel well and the body kit that way the spacers act as a tensioner to pull the kit tighter around the corner

Mine had similar gaps (a few mm at most) at the rear corners ('02 TLS/OEM kit); it appears to be an unfortunate result of a poor mold/cast? BTW--a few others on this board have mentioned about noticing the same thing, and I noticed that there were a few brand-new cars at the dealer had similar gaps. You might get lucky and find another OEM kit that fits a bit better but I kinda doubt it since they're all probably cast from the same mold. All you can really do is do what asiankidd suggested, or otherwise live with it if the gap isn't too big.
