OEM HID replaced and...

I replaced my OEM HID system with a Morimoto kit. I installed the new ballast on the same spot the old one was at. My question is about the hole on the headlight housing where the OEM igniter wires went through. I didn't completely cover the hole, just taped it with electrical tape much as I could to cover the space left after feeding the new wire through. Is this ok or should I redo it and completely seal the hole?

Redo it and seal the hole or you will be replacing parts in no time.

i agree, you can get some silica packs to put in them too to help keep them dry inside

Thank you for the advice. I redid the HID install using a 1.5" grommet, Auto Goop, silicone sealant, zip ties, and electrical tape. Here's a few pics, hope it lasts.
