OEM cd player problems

CD player plays but will not seek tracks using up and down buttons. Would a lens cleaner help or does it need repairs? Anyone else have this problem?

are you trying with a burned cd or is it a store bought???

if you bought the cd, then chances are it's a mechanical issue within the head unit. If the cd player can read the cd, then the lense obviously isn't dirty. If you constantly were getting errors when attempting to play the cd's, then I would conclude that the lense is dirty, and in that case you could use the lense cleaner.

Take the car to the dealer, they'll fix it for ya.
