I finally put Comptech springs on my 2002 Type S.

Wow, what a difference. The ride is firmer but not too harsh and body roll is much better. I now have almost as much confidence taking on ramps as I do in my Audi A4.

I love them so much that I would rather drive a TLP with comptechs than a Type S without them - pretty bold statement huh?

The only drawback thus far is on the highway when there is a sharp dip in the road, there seems to be one extra oscillation before it settles. That's probably going to be fixed if and when I change the shocks.

Mind you, changing to better tires was still the most important mod - I'm riding on stock size SP9000's.

About time hemants! Good choice. I guess you were surprised at how low H/R sports are. Come out and let me check it out. I have not seen/known a TL in TO with CT springs
