I heard the number is 1-800-what-warranty.

What's wrong with the headers?

^^so meanwhile you have to spend 3hours under your car putting the stock headers while you wait a week for headers to get to the retailer, another week of processing, 1 more week for them to get to OBX, 2weeks while they figure out if they send you or not headers (50/50) and then another month before you get the headers...and then FINALLY you spend another 4hours under the car swapping headers....YIIIIPPIIII!!!

i got mine from ebay, if this happens to me, i hope those duds are ebay OBX distributors...O CRAP, i gave them a neutral feeback!!! haha...hopefully this new generation stainless steel headers wont crack anywhere before my next 50000miles...

dude, just take the damn header off and bring it to your local welder and weld the sucker up. It's pointless to contact OBX. Like some said...WHAT SERVICE?

OBX is run by a bunch of Chinese...Just like chinese restaurants, there *IS* no service. Service to them is to take your order, slam a plate of food in front of your face and expect some tips! I still don't understand until this day why I kept on giving them tips everytime I ate there.

Just an FYI: OBX will not cover broken welds. It's been tried multiple times. Take them to a muffler shop and have someone re-weld the joint.

I second that, and it will only cost you a few bucks to have them reworked. Plus no waiting time.

How do you know when you have a crack?

I have the SS kind with Jet Hot coating, I don't know though if the coating makes them stronger or not.

you'll hear your engine VERY loud when the weld cracks...and probably some rattling...Stop if this happens or you might mess up the radiator or watever is on the other side of the engine hehe.

I was thinking of buying a new set of OBX and then swaping the new with the old...then send the old ones in and if OBX replaces, fixes or does nothing, then sell them.

But the mufler shop way seem easier. I origionally installed the headers my self but that was when it was in the middle of december and beautiful out...there is no way that I'm going to do it in this 115f AZ heat!

Thanks for all the help everyone.

<------------- GOOOHHHHH I JUST NOTICED THAT THIS POST I JUST MADE WAS 666...That can't be good!
