which is the OBZ site... and they have on there honda accord/acura V6 header for 368 and on page 2 they have v6 98-02 Accord Race headers for like 495. Whats the diff??

I ordered mine last night and I saw the same thing. I e-mailed them today and this is their reply:

Same header

They are not in stock - still waiting for them

This begs the question ... If they're exactly the same, why does one sell for $368.00 and one sells for $495.00???

 

Thats my questioning as well, if they are the same item y is one more than the other. I called OBX today b4 I saw the OBX site w/ the 2 diff headers on it, and they said that the honda accord/acura v6 header is in stock. Hopefully there is no diff in the two items... or else people may be gettin the lower quality ones thinking that they are the better ones. I guess we will see.

 

I posted OBX's reply to your quetion above.....they said they are the same but they dont have them in stock.

But if they were in stock, would they still cost $495? ... If so, then how could they be exactly the same? I mean, it could just be marketing (adding the words "racing" to it can up the price $100+ though?) ... Just doesn't seem right.

 

Yeah I hope the fitting issue on some cars isn't the difference between the "racing" headers and the Accord/Acura one.

they're the same ones. the $495 was the original price.

$368 is the "group buy" price, but its not really being run like a group buy. you can order directly from the website at that price.

i also got an email from ssautochrome yesterday, saying that they are out of stock for 10 days due to the "port situation". i gues they mean that strike on the west coast.

the only shadiness i see with this whole deal is the different answers people are getting regarding stock position.

This is correct. They had to add the link for the $368 prices so we can order them at that price. They are the same header.

Should any new info come up.. we'll start a new topic.
