OBX headers...

im about to buy these headers but want to know if in the future when i take the emissions test and inspection would it pass with it being installed? i dont want to have to remove it when it comes to doing these tests then installing them back.. pain in the ass.

I was reading that it might not pass the smog test.. need some advice

no reason why not as long as your O2 sensor is installed properly and you have your catalic converters on...that is what controls your emissions

no you'll be fine if you just swap headers - go for it.

the O2 sensors and catalic converters are parts of your exhaust system - mostly for emissions control. the O2 sensor actually goes into your headers so you will be fine there....in other words, you should be just fine.

Just be careful cause there are guys on here that have obx headers that are cracked. You get what you pay for. As for myself, I bought used Comptech headers rather than new obx headers.

FYI, this is just a heads-up.

I have a brand new set of OBX hedders that I never got around to installing. I'm down to sell them for $330.00 as long as you understand that they ARE NOT as reliable as the Comptech hedders as people on this forum have and will continue telling you but if your still down i'd love to get these out of my trunk.

P.S. I hate sending things like this (ie. I'm lazzy) so if you are local (bay area) and your down then lets do this. If not, sorry
