I guess we can speak from our experiences with the TL but like with so many other things, some people like them, some people don't.

For the TL, there are three headers available, in order of price: OBX, Stone Racing (SR) and Comptech (CT). Because OBX are the least expensive ($300 I think), people who buy them like them, it's the best deal (I think the SRs are about $100 more and the CTs are $1100).

Some folks don't care for them because they had some quality and design issues. The tube/flange welds would break and some experienced an annoying resonance at certain rpms. These issues have been addressed though.

Some like SRs better because for just a little more $$, you don't have the problems that have plagued the OBXs. SRs have had their issues too however. Some have had installation problems where the manifold does not line up with the Y-pipe and/or the O2 sensor bung was welded in the wrong place so that it interferes with the undercarriage.

It seems that CTs have had no problems but of course they cost beaucoup $$$$. You get what you pay for?

You decide what it's worth to you.

remember you get what u paid for. Im going with obx strictly bc of price I cant justify buying headers for 1200 from comptech for 25hp. Id rather save another 800 nad buy a 42 inch gateway plasma. OBX is 320 shipped.
