O2 senor help!
my Acura TL 2003 had a P0141 code pulled up today. engine light has been on about 2 weeks. after looking up what to do about this im debating on wether or not to change it right now but the engine lights really bugs the hell outta me!
basically what i need to know is where exactly is the bank 1, sensor 2 located on the exhaust? and where is a good place to purchase this part cause i hear aftermarket ones are a no go most the time. i dont necessarily need the one with the connector on it cause i can easily cut the old wires and butt them up if i have to.
also what im worried about is removing the old one. id like to do this myself but how hard is the bank 1 sensor 2 to remove?
i have very little knowledge on this subject but i feel i can tackle this so any information is very helpful! thanks guys!

Both sensors are easily found below the car the Upstream is Where the J-Pipe Ends and the Downstream is on top of the cat itself..
It all depends on how rusty they are, Sometimes they budge with a single pull of the break-bar but some others it will be almost seized (Odds are it is) so before you do anything spray them with WD40 or Penetrating Oil to make your life easier. Also remember to be gentle with the Female Plug (ECU Side) of the Sensor as to not damage the cable!!! You will be in a world of pain if you damage that side of the cable.

you want the oe unit which is Denso in this case and found everywhere
do not try cutting the wires- too sensitive an area
do you run 91 octane fuel all the time, not 87
its usually the first or upstream/before the cat sensor that wears out

wd or deep creep or rust penetrating spray of your choice
spray liberally the night before and let soak in (place cardboard to catch drips)
repeat before starting the work
a special tool for grabbing the old sensor and easy install tighten- avail cheap at parts stores
