I got a good ass deal i think on my lip kit. I went over to the recycling yards about 25 minutes away from my house. There is the big warehouse and all they sell is Honda/Acura parts. The reason i went in there was to try to find some moldings but they didnt have, so i decided to ask do u have any OEM lip kits. and so.....

I walked out of there with 150 dollars out of my pocket for 1 front and 2 sides i just have to get them painted to match my car. But im not to sure if the front is from 99-01 or 02-03 but i well i think its still a good deal

 

they wont fit each other. you will have to modify if you have the wrong half of 2nd gen front lip...

but to make it easy... the 99-01 is flat and solid in the front... 02-03 has small holes in the front corners...

 

haha.. still a good deal..

if its a 99-01.. you can always sell it for more..

sell it for $250 and buy yourself a new 02-03 front lip...

i was able to locate a few dealers one day who still have the fronts available in a various colors..

they were all around 268.. give or take 10 bucks up or down...

i didnt get my color but 268 bucks is well worth the comfort in the materials my lip kit is made of.

Nice, I just coped a deal myself on a brand new 02-03TL front lip as well.

 

Yeah...green is probably the least popular color...but I would think that would mean there were less made...hmm.

although they might have made hardly any... nobody calls in and ask for green when they have white car or black... most people call their dealer and ask for their specific color and when the dealer looks it up. it says Part discontinued..

YET!!!.. if you ask them to check all the colors they will find something almost guarenteed. just have to be willing to paint it...

 

Guess what everyone that front lip FITS!!!! hell yea hella happy i think im going to get them painted next month when i get more money and then im thinking should i get a wings west rear or just stick with OEM all around.

 

Next meet I won't be the only one with a lip kit. You went to HAP recycling in Rancho Cordova? That's a killer deal on those. I paid $830 for the complete set, brand new and in the color I needed. I couldn't find any used ones when I was looking around but I still got a good deal cause they go for about $1100.

 

Yup went to HAP. All those other places around there suck they never have anything. Yea see your lucky your are already your color i just need to get my rear. Hopefully i could get them on soon i need them painted. money funds are running low need to build back up LOL!

depends how good u know the shop or have the hook up...ur lookin at aound 3-400 for prep and paint...thats what i got quoted at first and i jus looked around and got my WW kit painted for 200 and 75 for hel installing..
