O boi...

DAmN, that's all I said after I installed my 6000Kelvin HID bulbs!!! No photograph could ever show you the phatness of the change from 4200K to 6000K...Im so glad I made this investment because its very stimulating knowing and seeing that your HID is so much phatter than any BMW, Benz, Porche, Audi, or any car for that matter...So many people will notice your cars uniqueness at night...It makes other cars HID look yellow compared to mine...I used to marvel at other people's HID thinking I was cheated on my $hit, but not now...I swear I thought my contacts were fuked up or something, but its the HID if you stare into the light for too long it makes your eyes sore...I read in the manual that its not good to look into the light source, i cant stop looking at it in disbelief...It's weird your eyes could easily mistake the light for purple, but its sooo damn white that your eyes have trouble distinguishing the color...Im 100% sure that I would do it again if I ever get another car w/HID...Shyne

Notice how they have the lights installed in some Bimmer (3 series?) then as you go down the page is says "FOR OFFROAD USE ONLY". How many people you know go offroading in their 3 series? I take it these lights are too bright for the street. You think you hate when people flash you now, wait until you put those suckers in.

SO are these just brighter or are they more crisp...I am assuming they are brighter because it was 4000 and now 6000....

I like..but will people be flashing you like there is no tomorrow?

fahoumh: $175 for a light bulb that lasts more than 10 years isn't too bad.

Mstyle: A 6000K bulb isn't any brighter than a 4000K bulb, and isn't any higher wattage; only its color temperature is different (i.e. it looks bluer).

Be advised that the Philips Ultinon is not DOT-legal, so any 6000K conversion technically isn't street legal (see attached pic).

The "next big thing" after Xenon lights will be LED lights:

Once they can get enough lumens out of LEDs, the next natural progression would be variable-color-temperature LEDs that will allow you to select how white/yellow you want your headlights to be depending on weather conditions.

BTW: LED fogs will probably arrive sooner than LED headlights, so keep an eye out...

Jason im sorry dude, i remember your email being adamowski or something like that...

Anyways, yea, the HID bulb is so damn small in comparison to the pix you see...The bloody nipple inside is an assortment of noble gasses...Phat $hit, only ballers would go this far...Look at it this way, these are not street legal so they are definately worth getting...With a name like philips and marketing specifically designed for the Japanese and the Honda Inspire, all you could is say is its some pimp $hit...What looks even hotter is when you put a piece of electrical tape over one of the connectors on the front parking/turn lights to trick the parking lights to not come on...Damn, i did this today and it looks so much better...good luck...Shyne
