I saw a picture on here somewhere before (or maybe the net) of a TL with NYPD makings and color schemes.... Does anyone know where I can find it again ? My dealership doesnt believe the NYPD uses TLs !!!!!!

Did he paint it with the NYPD coclor schemes?

 

I have seen Accord cop cars, but not TLs. The latter seems unlikely.

 

Accord cop cars? Never heard of that before. Is this something they do in Canada? It's mainly Ford Crown Victorias and Chevy Caprices around here.

There is no NYPD TL, they do use Crown Vics, Explorers, Expeditions, Excursions, Luminas and Impalas though, along with numerous other unmarked cars.

 

there is a sweet porsche turbo cop car here in tampa (late 80's porsche) and a modded 300zxtt. dont know exactly what it has but looks like the greddy exhaust and it has gauges on the pillar. both cars have full cop paint schemes too. drug repo cars.

 

Hell yeah in NY we have every car imaginable as unmarks. The police TL i saw was in a pic on Sep. 11. It must have been an off duty cop that had his car and threw on his little police lights and went there to help. I have seen accords, civics, vw's, vette, camaro, stang, tegs, eclipse, tempo, cab cars, pizza delivery cars, and all kinds of other cars.

 

If the NYPD has an Acura, it is most likely the result of a drug-repo. In NC, the cops are using Cameros...not as easy to spot and identify them as cops until it's too late...

 

Yup.......I think the Officer's Patrol car was fvcked up during the tragedy and there were no other available cruisers for him to use so he decided to use his TL.

 

How does everyone know that there is a NYPD TL...car..Any pics...Or can anyone photoshop this...
