clear turn signal lenses arent illegal but if youre talking about the color of the bulb, then its either yellow or red. cant be white because that color is reserved for reverse

i would highly doubt it since this could be mistaken for a cop car or emergency vehicle...in NJ, for example, you can only have amber or white up front and red or amber in the rear.

In all states as far as I know, you can have clear lenses for turn signals, but the light emitted must either be amber or white in front, and amber or red in the rear.
However, you must have amber (front) and red (rear) reflectors on your cars as well. Although these reflectors have nothing to do with the turn signals, they are often located in the same housing, like they are on our TLs. It's illegal to clear out these reflectors.

then how would you explain the clear tails on the 2002 TL models? they have clear tails and its OEM standard...cops cant pull you over for them since its OEM. i believe clear TAILS are legal but not the white turn signal BULBS.
