Normal or A Mechanical Issue?

When I step on the accelerator on my TL, I feel a little bit of resistance from the pedal like it's a bit sticky. Something similar happenned in my accord and they cleaned something (throttle body I think?) where there was supposedly carbon build up that was causing the "sticky" gas pedal. Does this sound right? Or is this just a TL characteristic?

thanks,
Joe

So it is a carbon build up causing the sticky pedal?

I think it's the throttle cable that's sticking. If you're still under warranty, have the dealer take care of it. No biggie.

sounds like your throttle body has some build up, u might want to clean it.... i had the same problem with my tahoe, brought it to the dealorship, and found out there was actually rust in there, and since it was ruff, the throttle body would just stick....
