On may 18 at Park Avenue Acura I ordered 2003 TL TYPE-S w/Navi (ABP). Dealer said that I have to wait couple of weeks, because they don't have it in stock. I called today and he said that it is still in production and that they will get it in about 2 weeks. Is this normal? Did any of you guys wait so long?

they can get u a car from another dealership if they are in stock....
if not, u gotta wait...

u haven't bought a euro car and u don't know....u gotta wait for 3 months if ur add some fancy options for VW...

Bimmer, buy it stock or wait for a couple months...
same as audi and MB

 

Don't worry, it's normal. I had to wait over a month to get the combo that I wanted. It had to be built from scratch.

 

Well I ordered My 2003 TLS w. Navi and they said they'll begin building it on June 17 and it will take about 14 days. If I don't get my car on the 15th day, then Im taking my deposit back and Going to look for another car.

 

No shortage here in CA. Tons of them in dealerships.

 

im in NyC ...have u tried westchester acura ??,,,id call around if i was you and id put down a deposit at a few places who ever gets it first wins,..... just make sure they agree that the deposit is refundable

 

i got my car the same day when i arrived at the dealership, the bad thing is the car didnt have navigation, but i wanted it at the time, but i was impatient and i took the non nav. if i would of got it with navi, i would have to wait about 3 weeks for arrival. i regret that mistake
