noises after EBC Green stuff

so it's been more than 4 months since I had my EBC green stuff installed, and ever since day 1 my front right wheel makes squeeking noises under braking. I didn't have any resurfacing done when they asked to. Overall I don't think the EBC green stuff is that great as opposed to what most people claim. But anyways, can anyone help me regarding the noises? thanks

they are hands down the best pad. not having your rotors resurfaced is part of the issue, the install may be the other. when installed did they use anti squeal?

i had 70,000 quiet braking miles on mine. tehy blow the axxis line out of the water

I'm split among EBC Green stuff, Axxis Ultimates, Hawk HPS and Cobalt GT-Sport for the rear. I don't want to deal with dust, so the Axxis is probably my 3rd choice. But is the Green stuff good? I don't know if anyone's had experience with Cobalt GT-Sport, but I've heard good things about them.

searching will yield you many more answers but overall, the greenstuff is the best bang for the buck.

they have low dust, great bite, and in MOST (about 99%) of cases they do not squeal. the ladder reason is why most people switch in the first place.

depending on where you get them 60-80 for the fronts. the hawks are great pads too, but they have half the life of the green stuff and produce a little more dust than the green stuff. my green stuff produced less dust than the oem pads, had 3 times the bite of my axxis ultimates, and were alot easier on the rotors than the axxis. the dust that the axxis produce has now stained my rims clearcoat a yellowish color and they no look like shit

Well I had the Green Stuff and wasn't to impressed. I think it was the rotors though. I know have the Hawk Ceramic. These pads are great. Only thing is they do give off a little bit more dust then the green stuff.

Where do you guys go for parts like this? You have local suppliers, or buy online? I'll be needing pads soon...the consensus seems Axxis, EBC (which I see also when I look for pads for the bike), or Hawks.....is there another post I should see for brake pad comparos?

Endless and Satisfied Pro Ceramics are 2 other great options. Personally I'd probably go with Endless over any other pad. Stay away from Axxis, I need to change mine out soon because the squeel is unbareable and so much dust.

Probably go with endless but they are a little pricey.

i do think i did properly break them in. My EBC pads seem to produce more dust than what my OEM used to. I now reall think it was an install issue from Midas. When i have time i will take them apart and see what's going on.

Hey, don't know if you got to taking it apart yet but I might suggest you get a torque wrench and check/reset the lugs to correct torque. For the Acura the lugs should be torqued to 80 ft-lbs.
Most places just zap the lugs on with an impact wrench which apparently has the potential of warping the rotor enough to give you a squeal.
