Just taking a poll. 2002 TLS 3900mi. After starting the car, putting it in gear, there is a short "rrrrrrr" (with a very slight vibration) after moving several feet, and then it goes away. It is the same sound I hear when a tire slips on wet pavement. It only does it once after starting the motor. It sounds like the abs is either testing itself or something. I didn't have this sound when I bought it or when I test drove one. Anyone have any ideas?

 

don't worry it's the abs engaging. it starts doing that from 0 miles on your car on. you should hear it twice, once at 5mph and once at 15mph
