Noise after Spring installtion

Ok guys, I guess this is what this forum is useful for.

After my spring installtion I hear clunking noise. I can not figure out what it is.
Some say it is the sway bar and some say it is shocks.

If you have or had this problem, can your guys post your symtoms and solutions here please?

I just finished my springs last night. I had a noise too, in the driver's side front. We re-torqued the bolts and found that the sway bar had settled. Re-tightened everything and it's quiet as a mouse now. Hope that helps, or else there's a lot of threads on this subject which I checked.

How much is the drop? Did you trim the bumpstops at all?

Alright,
I guess I have check the endlink this weekend. There are 4 nuts to this sway bar. 2 of them are connected to the arm (you know what i mean). Are these what i need to tighten?

likewise here... I have Tokico illuminas w/ ground control. I think it is just the coilover sleeve hitting up against the strut but it sounds more like a "thunk" than a "tink"... ideas?

OK, I didn't trim the bump stops, yes I did it myself with a friend, the drop was 1.7" front and 1.5" in rear. We only took the bottom sway connection off, so that's the only one we had to check. There was no evidence of rubbing anywhere. It's easier to fix if you did it yourself, because you know what you took apart and what you didn't. We just re-tightened everything we touched and the bottom sway settled in and the top bolts on the strut tightened up some more. These were H&R sports I put on. If this doesn't help, let me know and I'll have my mechanic buddy tell you what he did from his perspective. He works with me so I can have him answer later today. I'll check back on this thread later.

I had a noice after my H&R sports put in. My installer loosened an end link to relieve tension but forgot to tighten it. So, tightened it and now it's all quiet. The way we found out what it was is by getting the car off the ground and he used his hand and hit upward on the suspension. Sounded like a metal clicking noise. Before finding out what it was, whenever I would drive over like a sunken manhole cover or a joint between concrete, it would do it. Now, no issues. Just go back and tighten every bolt you see if you can't isolate it. Another test, with your car on the ground, open the trunk and push up and down with force where the trunk latch is. If you hear the clicking, chances are it's the end link or bolts related to the sway bar.

Have the same thing in the right rear, notice it when the tire drops lower than when its normally traveling... like taking a steep entrance at an angle and at the point that tire drops into the low point of the dip, I hear the clunk...

That is weird. Where did they put the installation faq's? I wanted to look at a picture of to get a visual ... since Comptech doesn't include pictures in their installation instructions.
