Noble Green Metallic.....Anyone???
Well I took the plunge last night and ordered my Type-S w/o nav. Since I currently have a white Maxima, and have had black and another white one before, my wife wants me to get the Noble Green. The silver doesn't do it for me and the blue is a little too bright.
Although, I think the black/black looks sharp (except for the faux ebony trim) she wants the beige interior (with the faux wood trim). Does anybody out there have the Noble Green.....do you love it, like it or hate it??
You know how it works guys.....the guys choose the car and the wife chooses the color.....and sleeping on the couch does get lumpy
Since my car won't be here for awhile I can still change my mind.

I saw some pictures on the CL board of the green, it looks pretty sharp. I also must say I haven't seen any greens on the road, so it will be unique. Personally, I'm a blue guy, so I did go with the blue TL-S. My second choice was silver, but I was seeing too many of them around, so that made an easy decision even easier. Here's the link to the topic at the CL board if you guys wanted to check out some pics of the Noble Green (scroll about halfway down)......

Well, Ive been to the dealer and I saw the color in person. The color reminds me of an accord or a camry. I would get the Aegean blue, black, white, or silver. Since you want the parchment int, go for the white.

I liked the old Deep Emerald Pearl better. That was a very classy color. I think I would get sick of this new green in about 6 months. I also agree that it looks more like something you would find on an Acord or Camry. Actually, when I looked at the picks, the first thing that popped into my mind was Dodge Neon, for whatever that's worth.

I have yet to see one at my dealer. I was there the other day and they had lots of TLs, but no green.
I personally think it's more of a "fad" color, something that will show it's age before long kind of like teal green a few years ago. It reminds me of a popular Accord color from some years back.
I would recommend the black/parchment or white/parchment, my personal favorite.

I saw the noble green at a dealership yesterday. I did not care for it at all. Since you're not interested in Silver, I suggest you get the White Diamond Pearl with parchment interior and tint the windows to what ever degree suits you.
Think long and hard about the Noble Green....seriously.

A brand new one pulled up beside me at a light a few days ago. I think it looks really good on our car. That would have been my wife's first choice if it had been available in June.

ice091298,
Can you post a pic of yours under sunlight?? To me(in the pic), NG has that shiny/glossy effect of the Gold color on CLS... also, is it just me or the color really does have JUST a tick of gold hue(pearl effect) to it??

I feel much better about the Noble Green choice now that I have seen the pics that Crzy Acura posted......Thanks. The Green has the metallic shine to it and I am feeling better about it.
I also squeezed the dealer for the Gold Emblems and Gold Type S emblem for $84.00. I know this stuff really doesn't cost them much at all, so he said he'd add $2.00/month to the 42 month lease for the Gold, which my wife really wanted.

That is a really sweet green color. Just wonder why it took them so long to make it available.
