The Premium has 9.8:1 compression?, and the S 10.5:1? You probably couldn't run more than 1 pound of addtional boost maybe two.
Type S 260 Hp 4 lbs boost = 332crank Hp 259 wheels
Premium 225 5 lbs boost = 303 crank hp 236 wheels
Type S 4 lbs boost = 332 crank Hp 259 wheels
Premium 225 6lbs boost = 319 crank hp 248 wheels.
It's close.
Add an intercooler and you could probably run 2 more pounds though. But you could do that for either.

wow 03ssmtl-s those are some half *ssed comments, but was very enjoyable to read. Even though you know exactly his situation you still decide to go further and further away from what kind of answers he's seeking. The brutely truth is acknowledged, but definitely not appreaciated. The whole time machine bit HAHA and its a slow process; some people just aren't made out of money to whip out a S out their *Ss or use their magic wand to change their car into something its not. This is not to slam anyone.... i just came across the thread and it was a enjoyable read. thanks more power to you TL-P!

ok, i can't understand why some ppl are such dicks. CalvinsBlkTL, i kno exactly what 03ssmtl-s was thinking...it makes more sense to get a type-s and start out at 260hp and performance mod ur car rather than starting out at 225 hp and modding it, im pretty sure thats what he was getting at, and if u weren't trying to slam neone, u wouldn't have mentioned names.
and Ice Man, try and calm down. "Are u being funny? What is a lb of boost?" don't attack everyone. Most people think it makes sense to start performance modding a car with the fastest model available, but i can understand u've put alot into ur tl-p and dont wanna trade it, i've done the same and I wouldn't trade mine either, too many good times.
I think the main reason is it costs 4500 dollars. I'm actually surprised by the numbers kaih says would result from the boost levels. If thats actually the case, I would consider an S/C for my car, except its been crashed 3 times prior to me getting it so i myself think it'd be a waste. I plan to drive it till it dies and then get something with alot of power that i can really work on.

Yes, I am a much calmer being these days. I re-read my post and I do come off as hot headed. What a dif a year makes. It was just frustrating having someone tell you to buy another car after you just bought one. Oh well, its still all good.
