No Owners Manual!!!
Okay gang, first post.......
So I've been test driving this '02 TL-S w/35K miles for a few days now. It looks flawless, and drives great. (I'm getting a lot of respect on the highway.)
Anyway, I'm ready to buy the car but there is no owners manual!
It has me wondering what is the service history on this vehicle. How do I find this info out? Also, being that there is no warranty info, how do I know what is covered and what's not? Should I take it to an Acura Dealer to get checker out? What will they charge me? I hate buying cars!! :smackhead

It should still be under factory warranty. Also, have the dealer buy a manual for you..... it's the least they can do after you drop $$ on a nice car.
Here is some info:
Acura Factory Warranty - 4yr. / 50,000 miles
Extended Factory Transmission Warranty - 7yr. / 100,000 miles

The dealer can look up the VIN on his service computer. He can tell you what maintenance has been done at Acura dealerships from date of service. I found out my car was in a fender-bender a couple of years before I bought it, because the dealer did the bodywork...(ouch, expensive!)

I personally will only buy a car from the original dealership it was purchased from.
I got my '99 from Crown Acura, so i knew who leased it, whats was done to it, and i got the certified warranty. which is turning out to be tottaly worth it.
my car was owned by a 48 year old non smoking house wife who did her normal service schedule. good stuff.

This forum is great for questions, but I don't have anything specific, just wanted to browse the manual to learn more about the features such as the details of Navigation menus, how many waypoints can be saved, does it have north up or road up, etc.
