Lots of epoxy, a couple chains, and a big fat "Protected by ADT" sticker on each light.... that should do the trick! Nothin will stop these people.... if somebody wants something bad enough, they'll find a way to get it... unfortunately.

Yeah, guard your TL constantly with 45calibur rifle and a laser equiped aim.

otherwise, hook an alarm sensor to right on the headlight so if someone tried to break thru your fender, hood and bumper the alarm will go off and scare them off, but you'll still have damages...otherwise go with the rifle solution, take turns @ night with your wife and kids.

I replaced my lights, ( i happend to find a near new 2 month old 2001 set in a junkyard in oregon)

IF not for that i still would be carless as acura still has a backorder on the ignitor. as part of the body repair im planing on welding a steal 1 blade grate, similar to those rock guards you see on SUV headlights. So it is obivious that it wont be easy to remove.

^^uhh, might not be a good idea since he now has access to your keys making the stealing of your haeadlights withought you knowing MUCH easier...but thinking again, if it happens, you wont have to repair so much damages!!

Im from venezuela btw...dont think all inmigrants are thiefs, pimps and drugdealers.

what did you expect, for us to re-elaborate what you stated in the first post? you'll still get dammage if anyone attempts and eitherway the insurance will cover it...thers no way to avoid it other than putting a sticker inside the headlights saying you have a viper alarm hooked onto it hehe!!

lol... ohhhh damn... are we really having this discussion? I have to agree with the MP5 though. I think putting a few holes in the guys head that keeps stealing your headlights will get your point across, but wait, sheit forgot about the car. oh well, just write it off...

Tie a lot of cans to ur headlights. That way you'll know when your headlights are being stolen. Then take the MP5 approach!

Step 1. Attach GPS to headlights.
Step 2. Wait for headlights to get stolen. Trace to destination.
Step 3. Post location on Acura boards for group meet.

hey what a good idea, since this duds are taking your headlights, why not let them take your GPS system also...o wait, tape your master lugnut behind the headlight also, thatway they can take your wheels also. Oh, dont forget the milk and cookies.

And how exactly does that prevent someone from ramming a crowbar between the headlights and hood, and then the headlights and the fenders, and ripping your headlights out??

These thieves arent popping the hood, and taking them out neatly, they are causing major damage, and there is no way to prevent it because lets say you did do something that would prevent them from removing your headlights. NO thief would realize that until your hood, fender, and probably headlamp itself are all already trashed. Think about it.

I'm down with the machine guns.... but I think I'll stick with the "theft sensing turrets" so when someone removes my headlight... it automatically mows them down!!!! Thats what I need!
